Job Overview:

To support our growing Employee Affiliation model we are seeking an onboarding specialist to provide our new hires with outstanding, proactive service and support. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solving, critical thinker who enjoys analyzing processes and overcoming challenges. Developing and maintaining essential relationships will be essential as this role will act as the primary point of contact to key business partners for individuals joining LPL’s Employee Affiliation Model.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&A and advisor facing onboarding cases, discussions and meetings

  • Manage a fluctuating case load delivering personalized onboarding experiences via phone and email communication

  • Proactively suggest, implement and lead process improvements that will contribute to M&A onboarding activity and our Employee Advisor Model to deliver best in class onboarding experience.

  • Track, monitor and provide detailed updates regarding the status of employee onboarding via Excel, Smartsheet, Workday and PowerPoint

  • Coordinate the OBA Review Process by reaching out to the advisor/employee to gather all required information to prepare & send over to the appropriate business partners

  • Analyze criminal, credit and CRD information and use discretion to determine additional documentation required while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee information

  • Troubleshoot issues early and course correct as needed for all operational aspects of the HR onboarding process specific to the employee affiliation model population

  • Effectively communicate and partner with departments in and out of Human Resources, serving as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for any and all Onboarding related questions

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in fast paced, financial services onboarding, M&A coordinator or HR project role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field

  • - Critical Thinking - Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems specific to Advisors and Acquired employees.

  • - Communication - At ease speaking to large groups and preparing polished written communications to convey information effectively. Outgoing and energetic personality able to build connections and give and receive constructive feedback

  • - Attention to Detail - Thorough, organized, and productive; able to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver proactive, accurate reporting to partners and leadership

  • - Servant Leadership - actively looking for ways to better serve our acquired hires and Advisors


Pay Range:

$26.27-$39.40/hour

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
