Overview:
The Payroll Compliance team is responsible for mitigating risk regarding payroll functions. We work closely with each Payroll team to ensure payroll processes are compliant with local, state and federal regulations. Our job is to identify areas of improvement and any need for re-training, along with supporting the Payroll department as business needs change and/or grow.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, manage and answer Form I-9 or related inquiries from a dedicated inbox; verify that Form I-9s are completed accurately and timely
- Monitor open E-verify cases through system dashboards to ensure cases are properly resolved
- Conduct monthly audits of employee work authorization and update records accordingly
- Resolve internal and external audit inquiries in a timely manner
- Develop and/or administer training to internal resources on relevant processes
- Help facilitate the Alternative Procedure process when necessary
- Help identify areas of improvement and implement solutions

Relevant experience
- 3+ years of Payroll/HR & Form I-9/E-Verify experience
- Understanding of USCIS policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
