About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of our HR department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a broad skill set in core HR functions, recruiting expertise, and a proven ability to lead and manage comprehensive HR programs. This role requires experience in benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and full-cycle talent acquisition.
Strategic HR and Leadership
- Develop, implement, and manage HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Serve as a business partner to the executive team, providing HR guidance and recommendations.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Talent Acquisition and Recruiting (Key Focus Area)
- Lead all recruitment efforts, developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent for all departments and levels.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, and sending offers
- Analyze recruiting metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency and quality of hire.
Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle
- Design and deliver an onboarding experience to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and quickly become productive.
- Manage new hire paperwork, compliance, and orientation programs.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to minimize turnover.
Benefits and Compensation
- Administer and manage all employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, disability).
- Lead the annual open enrollment process and ensure effective employee communication regarding benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of labor law and HR best practices (federal, state, and local).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
