Remote Payroll/HR Specialist
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Payroll / HR Specialist to support our payroll operations and human resources functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor and payroll laws.The ideal candidate is reliable, discreet, and comfortable working with sensitive information. This position offers flexibility with both
full-time and part-time options, as well as a
hybrid work environment after onboarding.
Primary ResponsibilitiesPayroll ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll accurately and timely for employees in accordance with company policiesCalculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and withholdingsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsMaintain accurate payroll records and documentationRespond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepanciesPrepare payroll reports and assist with internal or external auditsCoordinate with accounting and finance teams as neededHuman Resources ResponsibilitiesSupport employee onboarding and offboarding processesMaintain employee personnel files and HR recordsAssist with benefits administration including enrollment and changesSupport compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and internal proceduresRespond to employee HR-related questions in a timely and professional mannerAssist with HR reporting and administrative tasks as needed
Required QualificationsPrior experience in payroll processing and human resources administrationStrong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirementsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation
Salary Range: $75,000 $85,000 annually (based on experience and role type)
Annual Bonus: Typically
10% 20% of base salary, performance-based
