As we transition accounting processes in-house, your role will be crucial in maintaining financial accuracy, streamlining workflows, and supporting leadership with reporting and reconciliations.

Support payroll processing by preparing and reviewing data as backup
Reconcile employee expense reports for policy compliance
Assist with client billing and invoicing, including documentation and tracking
Process accounts payable invoices: coding, review, and payment prep
Issue vendor payments and maintain AP records
Track revenue and generate financial reports to support management
Assist with sales and use tax filings and documentation
Maintain well-organized accounting files and audit-ready records
Communicate accounting deadlines and updates to internal teams
Draft, update, and maintain finance-related policies and procedures
Provide administrative support to the company accountant and key managers
Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism
Support special projects and operational improvements as needed
Associate's degree in Accounting or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Demonstrated experience managing sensitive and confidential information
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts), Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with Concur Expense or Deltek ComputerEase (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus
Payroll processing experience is a bonus
Strong written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfort working independently and collaboratively
Professional demeanor with a solution-oriented mindset
Proficiency in basic accounting concepts, calculations, and reporting
