Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator assists with various HR-related functions including employee relations, policy implementation, benefits administration, onboarding, administrative support, office management, and company events. This role assists with varied day-to-day HR tasks and will need to efficiently adapt to workplace priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions.
- Prepares employment verifications for previous and current employees.
- Assists with implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable law and company standards.
- Facilitates and assists with benefit-related questions including qualified life event enrollments, general 401(k) inquiries, and benefits claim questions and/or plan changes.
- Assists HR Leadership with project planning, including office events and company-wide initiatives.
- Assists and plays a key role in departmental and enterprise initiatives.
- Assists with the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Responsible for ordering office supplies and managing office inventory.
- Providing ad hoc reporting and support to leadership, as necessary.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Well-developed team skills and the experience, confidence, and presence to effectively manage interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues.
- Strong organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and public-speaking skills (verbal and written)
- Located in Richmond, VA and willing to work from the office in a hybrid schedule.
Pay Range:
USD $22.12 - USD $24.04 /Hr.
