River Valley is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator/Generalist to join our team in Olathe, Colorado.
The Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist plays a key role in supporting and collaborating with the Human Resources (HR) Manager in the daily operations of the HR Department, contributing to a workplace that values compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement. This role involves assisting with employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring compliance with clinic policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate is not only organized and discreet but also inquisitive and eager to learn – actively seeking opportunities to grow in their understanding of HR practices and contribute fresh ideas. Qualifications
Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.Associate’s degree or higher required.Minimum 2-year experience in Human Resources preferred.Minimum one year of experience working in an ambulatory clinic or healthcare setting preferred.Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices preferred.Experience with HR systems and databases preferred.Strong interpersonal skills; people-oriented and results-driven.Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality.Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Willingness to travel to clinic locations, meetings, and trainings outside of the service area.Ability to work varied hours to meet job requirements.Ability to establish and maintain courteous, professional relationships with patients, staff, and the public.Strong analytical skills; able to read, interpret, and apply business practices, policies, technical guidelines, and regulations. Capable of writing clear reports and business correspondence.Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions in group and individual settings.Demonstrates problem-solving skills and adaptability in situations with limited standardization, recognizing that past practices may not always be the best path forward and being open to exploring more effective solutions.Inquisitive and eager to learn; actively seeks opportunities for professional growth and process improvement.Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with individuals and groups of diverse racial, ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds.
