Overview:
UF Health is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR support across multiple locations. In this role, you will partner with market leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals, drive workforce engagement, and ensure compliance and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Employee & Labor Relations, to deliver integrated HR solutions that support both clinical and non-clinical teams.
Human Resources Business Partner – On-Site
Location: On-site at UF Health locations including Leesburg, The Villages, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Gainesville, with assignments based on business needs.
Reports To: VP of Human Resources, UF Health Corporate
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with market executives and operational leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, culture, and change management initiatives.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Support recruitment strategies for critical roles and succession planning for leadership positions.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend actions to optimize staffing and retention.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Works with Employee and Labor Relations to provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
Performance & Engagement
- Works with Talent Management to partner with leaders to implement performance management processes and leadership development programs.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work environment.
Collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs)
- Partner with HR COEs (e.g., Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Employee & Labor Relations) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Act as a liaison between market leadership and COEs to ensure alignment of programs and services with market needs.
- Provide feedback to COEs on program effectiveness and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
HR Operations & Metrics
- Monitors and incorporates HR metrics (turnover, engagement, staffing levels) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; or four (4) years of relevant leadership experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a strategic HR business partner role within healthcare or a complex, multi-site organization.
- Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
