Job Summary: The Training Specialist enhances the competencies of our training department by designing and conducting training programs for clients, partners, and employees. He or she supports conducting training needs assessments, designing curriculum, and learning materials, and managing all phases of training execution.
Essential Functions: Analysis Analyze customer training needs.
Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum.
Support to identify structure and ideal delivery method for iBase-t as a company.
Work closely with the Documentation department, Product Management, and Implementation Services to translate all analysis into educational offerings which guide the customer in the successful adoption and use of the Solumina product.
As appropriate, increase iBase-t on-demand/on-line training and documentation offerings to facilitate customer learning.
Support and may develop metrics to assess needs and impact of training on customer performance, satisfaction, and retention.
Support and may determine methods to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into customer work behavior.
Design Plan, schedule, and participate in the development of educational offerings and all related materials in response to product releases and customer needs.
Periodically review ongoing programs to ensure they accurately reflect the current functionality of the software.
Stay abreast of new trends and tools in customer training.
Delivery Set up, configure, and maintain necessary equipment to support training courses.
Set up, configure, and maintain necessary processes and cloud services to support virtual instructor led delivery.
Direct structured, engaging, and effective learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
Support and may deliver training courses, virtual and on premise.
Requirements: Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
Knowledge of large-scale, discrete manufacturing – experience in MES, SQM, or MRO is required.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
Proven experience in designing multiple educational offerings in a corporate setting.
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
Proven ability to master the full training cycle.
Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI.
Enthusiasm for learning things and teaching others
Demonstrated focus on making the learning process flexible, fast-paced, and enjoyable.
Experience developing and delivering Virtual Instructor Led courses.
Exposure to learning management software
Sound decision making and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
Demonstrate a general understanding of various software development tools and structures (e.g., Kong, REDIS, Mongo DB, Kubernetes, and APIs.)
Ability to travel as needed.
Required Education/Experience: BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field
2-3 years developing and delivering software product training courses, preferably for external customers.
