Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, employee‑owned professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner & Affirmative Action / EEO Program Manager to join our Human Resources team. This is an in‑office position based in our West Allis, WI location. This role supports firm‑wide recruiting efforts while also managing affirmative action and equal employment opportunity compliance activities.
This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who enjoys partnering with hiring managers, supporting full‑cycle talent acquisition, and managing compliance and reporting efforts in a collaborative, people‑first culture.
Responsibilities Include:
Talent Acquisition (Approximately 80%)
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to recruit top talent across technical and professional disciplines
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
- Collaborate with hiring teams to develop job postings, interview questions, and candidate communications
- Conduct interviews and participate in candidate evaluation and selection decisions
- Advise and support hiring managers on applicant tracking system (ATS) usage, hiring policies, and best practices
- Ensure recruiting processes align with affirmative action and EEO requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and close out requisitions in a timely manner
- Assist with recruiting process improvements, special projects, and talent initiatives
Affirmative Action & EEO Program Manager (Approximately 20%)
- Responsible for the firm’s affirmative action and EEO compliance efforts, including data collection, reporting, and documentation
- Work with our vendor to prepare and maintain Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs)
- Oversee required compliance reporting, including EEO‑1, VETS‑4212, and related submissions
- Collect, analyze, and maintain applicant flow and workforce data
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to federal contractor requirements
- Maintain required documentation for EEO and affirmative action reporting
- Provide guidance to TA Director on EEO training initiatives, reporting, and process improvements
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- An associate degree (or higher) in human resources, business administration, social sciences, or a related field; OR at least two years of relevant talent acquisition experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong consultative skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Self‑motivation and a solutions‑oriented mindset
- Fluency in recruiting‑related legal and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action and EEO
- Experience supporting federal contractor compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain compliant and well‑organized documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talent acquisition experience in AEC or professional services firm
- Full‑cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing and filling niche and highly technical roles
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred)
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or similar)
