We are looking for an energetic Release Manager to be a key contributor to the product team. You will ensure that for each product release, we have a well-founded and tightly coordinated release methodology that is being executed at a high level. You’ll work with product management, engineering, delivery, product marketing, and more. In this role you will develop, run and iterate upon the release strategy for our products, ensuring they are deployed rapidly and with quality across the client base. You will collaborate with other departments on product deployment and adoption strategy.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and execute release plans to ensure timely and successful deployments of new features, updates, and releases with minimal effort, driving product currency across a large and diverse client base.
• Create detailed release schedules capturing action items, owners and timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the release process.
• Collaborate with product development teams, stakeholders, and other departments to identify highlight features, manage gathering of assets for creation of internal and client-facing release collateral.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams, and internal subject matter experts to gather feedback, provide updates, and ensure successful post-release delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, marketing, customer success) to align release plans, coordinate resource allocation, and share knowledge and best practices.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, platforms, and industry trends to inform decision-making and drive innovation in our release process.
• Collect feedback and data from stakeholders to continuously improve the release process.
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Necessary Strengths, Skills, and Competencies:

• 5+ years of release management or similar project management experience.
• Experience working in the benefits technology or insurance industry.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product development, QA, and customer success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent professional communication skills both verbal and written and experience with public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar software.
• Experience working with cloud-based HR and Benefits software platforms.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and flexible in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
