Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of talent acquisition experience.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registrations Required:
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Recruitment experience in an academic medical center or large healthcare system
Experience leading recruitment operations and managing recruiters
Valid RN license if leading Nurse Recruiters
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment processes for a variety of roles, including clinical, academic, and administrative positions. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, healthcare recruiting trends, and relevant regulatory environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of the recruiting process for assigned departments. Manage candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring procedures. Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication.
Monitor and refine recruitment systems and tools to improve performance and optimize candidate flow.
Supervise HR Talent Recruiters and/or Nurse Recruiters, providing daily guidance and support. Oversee team workload distribution and recruitment priorities.
Coach and mentor team members to foster professional growth and skill development. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Provide ongoing training and development to the recruiting team, ensuring they stay updated with industry best practices and organizational policies.
Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and qualifications. Act as the main point of contact for hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Implement recruiting initiatives developed by the Chief Human Resources Officer. Contribute to innovative strategies to enhance diversity and candidate quality.
Promote the organization’s employer brand through various recruiting efforts. Support market outreach by attending job fairs, networking events, and maintaining a strong social media presence.
Track and report key recruitment metrics. Provide regular updates to the HR Leadership Team on performance, challenges, and successes.
