Payroll Data Clerk - Auburn Hills, MI

Part-Time Temporary 

Hourly Salary: $20.00

Join our team to support a critical payroll data project! We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Data Clerk to assist with a special initiative over a 9-month period. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an important project while gaining valuable experience in payroll operations.

Position Overview:

The Payroll Data Clerk supports team with data entry, sorting and scanning mail, preparing garnishments, and payroll reporting tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee payroll records
• Assist with garnishments, direct deposits, and tax forms for US and Canada
• File payroll documents, distribute department mail, and assist with payroll inquiries
• Process unemployment, disability, medical support notices and labor statistic forms

 Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, preferred
• 1-2 years of payroll or administrative experience, preferred
• Customer service and follow-up experience
• Data entry and accuracy skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Payroll Systems (Oracle, ADP, etc.), preferred

 Working Conditions:

Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
