Human Resource Generalist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our
dynamic organization. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing daily HR
operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and
compliance with HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of HR practices and employment laws, excellent communication skills,
and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings,
resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding
•Support new restaurant acquisitions within the assigned market area.
• Monitor new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding
process.
•Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and
effective manner.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing
improvement plans.
• Maintain adherence to HR policies and procedures.
• Identify training needs and assist with employee development programs.
• Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
• Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Manage HR systems and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment,
employee relations, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
