• Develops and delivers training programs to enhance user proficiency with EMR systems
• Assists healthcare staff in navigating EMR applications and collaborates with IT and clinical teams to tailor instructional materials
• Supports system updates and monitors training effectiveness
• Maintains documentation and facilitates hands-on training sessions
• Addresses user inquiries and troubleshoots issues to ensure efficient EMR usage and data accuracy
Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of relevant work experience required. An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required experience.
• 1+ years of experience developing and delivering EMR training programs
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical workflows
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and clinical teams
• Experience troubleshooting user issues and providing support
Epic Credentialed Trainer status in the supported application must be obtained within six (6) months of hire or transfer into the position.
