Position Overview
Rocket Youth is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner II to support leaders and employees across multiple business units and locations. This role will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on HR partner, helping drive employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and operational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate brings strong employee relations experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities
HR Partnership & Employee Support
- Partner closely with leadership teams to support business operations and workforce initiatives
- Build trusted relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders across multiple locations
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support organizational initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations matters including investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and corrective action
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Promote consistent application of company policies and HR processes
- Assist in maintaining a positive and compliant work environment
Training & HR Systems
- Support onboarding, training, and employee development programs
- Assist with HR systems administration and process improvements, including UKG support
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting related to HR technology platforms
- Help improve HR workflows and operational efficiency
Employee Experience & Organizational Growth
- Support employee feedback initiatives and engagement programs
- Identify workplace trends and recommend improvements
- Assist leadership with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives
- Contribute to projects that support company growth and scalability
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification
- Experience in high-growth or multi-location organizations
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms
- Background in service-based, education, youth programs, or multi-unit operations

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
