Overview:Assist in the processing of in-house payroll and handling related activities for the Company.
Responsibilities:Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments.
Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
Assist with processing and reconciling payroll biweekly.
Ensure submission of timesheets.
Create basic ad-hoc reports on earnings, taxes, and deductions as required by management.
Prepare and issue paychecks.
Calculate and audit timesheets and make corrections as necessary.
Process labor adjustments.
Establish and maintain payroll files in accordance with audit requirements.
Maintain records of leave and nontaxable wages.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Research payroll tax issues and manage tax applications.
Process new hires, terminations, manual/out of cycle checks, bonuses, salary adjustments, garnishments, and new hire state reporting.
Create basic ad-hoc reports on earnings, taxes, and deductions as required by management.
Respond to audit requests and provide requested documentation.

Salary and eligible variable compensation (if any) commensurate with experience. Range $70,000-$90,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
