Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Regional Resource Team member to support multiple facilities within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across various units, adapting quickly to changing clinical needs. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to safety standards, and use advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple Novant Health facilities in alignment with established clinical standards and protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Support units with variable census and acuity by floating to different locations and adapting to a wide range of clinical environments and patient populations.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Promote a culture of safety by following infection prevention guidelines, medication safety practices, and organizational policies, and by reporting safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in care coordination activities, including handoffs, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient and family education.
- Serve as a resource to on-site teams by sharing best practices, assisting with prioritization of care, and supporting new processes and initiatives.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts by collecting data, providing feedback, and engaging in education related to clinical excellence and patient experience.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and respect for diversity in all patient and team interactions, consistent with Novant Health's mission and values.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications, completing ongoing education and competency validation as required by Novant Health and regulatory bodies.
