CONTRACT TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Full-time contract assignment | 4-6 months | Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE

Crêpes à Latte is looking for a hands-on Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us complete a concentrated hiring plan. You will recruit approximately 30 part-time Hospitality Ambassadors supporting live events and up to five full-time corporate roles across Human Resources, Finance, Warehouse, and Sales.

This is a focused recruiting assignment for someone who enjoys moving quickly, building genuine candidate relationships, and bringing structure to a high-volume pipeline. You will partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to turn open roles into successful hires while ensuring candidates have a clear, professional experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume Ambassador and professional/corporate roles, from sourcing through offer-process support.

• Build qualified Ambassador pipelines for priority markets and event locations using job boards, social media, referrals, community channels, and direct outreach.

• Review applicants, conduct phone and video screens, coordinate interviews, prepare candidate summaries, and keep candidates informed throughout the process.

• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, collect interview feedback, and maintain momentum to close open roles.

• Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate records, and disposition data in Rippling or other designated systems.

• Provide weekly updates on pipelines, conversion, hiring progress, risks, and recommended next steps.

• Improve recruiting templates, candidate communications, and workflow as the assignment identifies opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting or talent-acquisition experience.

• Experience recruiting both high-volume hourly or part-time staff and professional or corporate positions

• Strong sourcing, candidate-screening, communication, organization, interviewing, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience using an applicant tracking system and Microsoft 365 or comparable tools.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and handle confidential information professionally.

• Preferred: experience recruiting for hospitality, food and beverage, live events, brand ambassador, warehouse, retail, or other customer-facing workforces.

• Preferred: experience with Rippling or a comparable HRIS/ATS and recruiting analytics.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

This role is primarily computer- and phone-based. It may be performed remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, with periodic meetings in Vernon Hills, Illinois, as assigned. You must be able to communicate effectively and use standard office technology, with or without reasonable accommodation.

COMPENSATION & ENGAGEMENT DETAILS

This is a full-time, temporary contract assignment expected to last four to six months. The anticipated pay range is $40.00-$45.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, engagement structure, and applicable law. This assignment is not eligible for Crêpes à Latte employee benefits unless required by law or provided through the engagement arrangement.
