JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Talent Development & Employee Relations Manager, is responsible for the coordination of talent development initiatives and programs across the Doyon Family of Companies (DFOC) and general HR support for the HR Service Center (HRSC). Responsible for day to day system administration and maintenance of the online learning management system (LMS), developing and facilitating employee training, and conducting internal investigations across the DFOC.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the design, development and delivery of programs, procedures and guidelines to align the workforce with strategic goals.
- Analyze workforce & training needs, makes recommendations as requested. Implements solutions with direction from supervisor.
- Serve as an administrator in the LMS. Conducts day to day system maintenance and troubleshooting, evaluates DFOC online training needs and vets and loads content.
- Develops, writes and reviews learning materials.
- Coordinates employee development opportunities.
- Develops and facilitates training sessions.
- Assists with coordination of talent and succession processes and programs.
- Support the subsidiary HR departments with planning, implementation, and on-going maintenance of employee relations and conducting internal investigations upon request, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Participate on committees and special projects.
- Partners with various talent vendors to accomplish HRSC needs, such as social media recruitment providers and others, on special projects or initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of employment and labor regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws and employment legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Research, identify and recommend best practices for HR related processes. Participate in developing and editing organizational guidelines, procedures and policies.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business or human resources. May substitute additional years progressive administrative experience on a year-for-year basis
- Demonstrated experience in learning or similar system administration environment
- 3-years of experience working with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with mid to high level skills
- Technical computer and systems skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional certification in area of expertise (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
- Experience working with a Human Resource Information System (e.g., UKG Pro, Brainier, other LMS or relevant system)
- Online learning content authoring experience or certification
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
