Job Purpose
Oversee the company’s full life-cycle recruiting program, developing and implementing strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing, agile recruiting team focused on delivering results efficiently and effectively. Drive talent management and employee engagement initiatives to help foster a positive, fulfilling work environment where employees feel connected to the company’s mission, values, and goals.
Essential Functions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, ensuring they meet hiring goals and maintain high standards of candidate and hiring manager experience
- Drive a high-performance culture within the talent acquisition team, using data and metrics to measure progress
- Manage a portfolio of requisitions, actively sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for open roles
- Develop and implement a variety of effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the food manufacturing sector, including advertising initiatives, university and technical school relationships, and community partners
- Leverage innovative sourcing strategies and out-of-the-box ideas to identify and attract top talent, including technology, diversity, and relocation
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Utilize data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize recruitment strategies
- Oversee the training of hiring managers for the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations
- Partner with hiring managers, leaders, and HR to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for talent acquisition initiatives
- Oversee an effective internal job posting process to support internal growth and quality talent retention
- Oversee the efficient screening of applicants using skill assessment tools and tests; conduct phone screens with qualified candidates and assist with scheduling interviews as needed; ensure accurate and well-ordered documentation on all searches, candidates, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities
- Organize, lead, and document recruitment strategy sessions with hiring managers and post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates
- Create and deliver offers of employment; administer appropriate pre-employment assessments and reference/background checks
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Ensure the company maintains a positive reputation as an employer through effective management of LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other social media
- Develop, execute, and champion talent management initiatives, including onboarding, engagement, and retention
- Conduct onboarding for all corporate new hires, working with hiring manager over the first 90 days of employment; coordinate new hire onboarding for plant positions with plant HR staff
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and manufacturing recruitment
- Assist with various human resource programs and projects
- Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Compensation details: 110000-125000 Yearly Salary
