What you'll do...:
The Talent Development Manager is at the center of how we grow our leaders and strengthen our organization. This role connects business strategy to people development—designing impactful learning experiences, building critical capabilities, and helping leaders perform at their best. Through strong partnerships, innovative solutions, and a focus on measurable outcomes, this role directly shapes the future of our talent and the success of our business. Day to day, you will: - You will partner with leaders and HR to translate business priorities into scalable talent development strategies that build critical capabilities
- You will design and deliver high-impact learning experiences using modern, blended approaches that strengthen leadership and performance.
- You will lead and develop a team to execute against priorities, ensuring quality, alignment, and continuous improvement.
- You will act as a strategic consultant to diagnose performance gaps and implement solutions that go beyond traditional training.
- You will measure and optimize impact using data and insights to continuously improve programs and inform future strategy.
What you'll bring to the team...:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- 8+ years of related work experience
- Progressive experience in talent development, leadership development, or organizational effectiveness, including consulting, design, and delivery of scalable development solutions to deliver measurable business and capability outcomes. Experience leading and developing talent development professionals required.
- Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner effectively with leaders at all levels. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and drive meaningful discussions.
- Experience designing and delivering blended learning solutions, including digital, instructor-led, and experiential development approaches across leadership, career development, and professional skills. Familiarity with modern learning design methods (e.g., design thinking, learner-centered design) and relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience leveraging learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS, content management systems, virtual learning tools) to design and scale development solutions. Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and modern learning practices, including learner experience design and digital content creation.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in leadership development, organizational development, and talent development, with the ability to translate external insights into practical, business-relevant solutions.
It would be even better if you also had...:
- Experience designing and delivering leadership development solutions in complex or enterprise environments, including high-impact, cohort-based or experiential programs.
- Advanced degree in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Leadership, Business, or a related field.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, HR business partners, and cross-functional teams to design and implement development solutions that drive organizational change and performance improvement.

Pay Range Information:
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range:
$101,200.00 - $161,900.00/Yr.
