Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for managing the candidate background check process, supporting the hiring administrative processes while enhancing candidate experiences, and supporting talent acquisition activities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate candidate background screens; follow up with candidates promptly to ensure a positive experience;
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including processing clearances, creating new hire files;
- Review and process candidate background screens to ensure compliance with agency policies;
- Coordinate candidate background check exception process;
- Coordinate candidate reference checks;
- Serve as administrative support for the Talent Team and Nurse Recruiter
- Assist the onboarding team with registering associates for orientation and training;
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing and data entry;
- Assist with special projects and other HR-related initiatives as assigned;
- Maintain candidate background check tracking spreadsheet;
- Initiate communication with talent partners, hiring managers and appropriate leadership regarding candidate background screening concerns;
- Update job posting templates in Applicant Tracking System as needed;
- Serve as point-of-contact for the internal applicant tracking system;
- Ensure compliance with legal and organization policies and procedures;
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in human resources or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience supporting a recruiting or HR team.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Recruiting processes.
- Familiarity with recruiting in a medical or human service environment a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time onsite position.
Compensation: $22- $24/ hour with occasional OT.
