Overview:
The
Driver Recruiter Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be to support the Driver Recruiting Team in building and developing a pipeline of experienced CDL candidates for NFI. Accountable for support activities including: posting jobs; responding to applicant phone and email inquiries; assisting Recruiters with sourcing and screening applicants; and attending job fairs, seminars, and trade shows (truck shows).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Driver Recruiting team to understand sourcing needs
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of the CDL labor market
- Coordinate requisition and job posting process
- Screen applications and conduct screening interviews
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Tenstreet applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Coordinate and attend recruiting events at driving schools, job fairs, local communities, industry venues, etc.
- Serve as Driver Recruiter, as needed:
- Work with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs
- Assist qualified candidates in completing their employment applications, and ensure all necessary paperwork is sent to the processing team
- Partner with operations management on recruiting activities
- Perform other special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with demonstrated pro-active recruiting or sales experience
- 1-2 years professional experience in Sales, Customer service, Human Resources or Recruiting (including internships)
- Experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry a plus
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Exceptional planning and time management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with recruiting technologies a plus
- Knowledge of Internet candidate data mining a plus
- Knowledge of DOT requirements a plus
We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $16.65 -$22.20. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
