Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to South Carolina labor laws and organizational policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and HR records.
- Support grant compliance requirements related to HR activities.
- Promote and support an inclusive workplace culture, with a focus on LGBTQ+ inclusivity.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and management regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a non-profit, healthcare, or administrative setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and South Carolina labor laws.
- Experience with grant compliance in HR functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience working in LGBTQ+ inclusive environments is strongly preferred.
